Customized Convenings + Training
Join us on this journey towards creating a collective of frictionless learning environments for every student. We bring Special Education professionals together to connect, collaborate, and grow as leaders grounded in liberation and transformation. CoLab is our signature program, and offers educators concrete solutions to challenges affecting their classrooms, opportunities to develop their skills as peer leaders, and training on topics such as case management, co-teaching, asset-based IEP writing, and leadership development. With a focus on fostering professional learning networks, our programs provide spaces for teachers to connect with others, exchange ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions. In partnership with school districts, education agencies, and organizations, we facilitate teacher-centered professional development that brings teachers’ perspectives to the forefront, transforming the everyday school experience for students with disabilities.

An anti-oppressive framework is a method and process in which we understand how systems of oppression such as ableism, colonialism, racism, sexism, and classism, can result in individual discriminatory actions and structural/systemic inequities for certain groups in human society. Anti-oppressive practices and goals seek to recognize and dismantle such discriminatory actions and power imbalances.
